Good morning. My name is Andrew Love. This is my eleventh science presentation at Balticon; I try to vary my subject matter from year to year – today my subject is inspired by an interesting question someone asked on a mailing list I’m on, which resulted in a lengthy discussion and some entertaining calculations. Rather than just give the question and the answer I’m going to explore the issue from several angles – looking at all sorts of things that spin.
