Flash Mobs: would you take part in one?

The answers for this poll were very on the fence with the vote going almost 50/50 for and against.

Which of Larry's new books are you most looking forward too?

With an unprecidented number of new releases coming out in the latter part of this year the long awaited sequel to the Ringworld Throne being among them - which of the new titles are you most looking forward to reading:

Unfortunately, this survey was concluded prematurely when Bravenet updated their services and the poll data was lost, but votes received to date went as follows:

Which of the new titles are you most looking forward to?
Man Kzin Wars 1051
Ringworld's Children57
Scatterbrain13
Burning Tower3

Who is your favourite "Ringworld" Character?

Louis Wu and his motley crew - who did you vote for as your favourite Ringworld Character?

Louis was the clear leader over the runner up Kzinti Speaker-to-Animals by almost 100%.

What was your first Niven read?

No surprises here - Ringworld wins hands down with 38% of the vote. Many of you also happened onto Niven with the Hugo Winning "Neutron Star" short story collection, and other short story collections.

Which of Larry's stories (apart from Ringworld) do you think would make a great film or tv show?

Surprisingly the vote winner with 17% of the vote was The Mote in God's Eye. Mote would probably make a really good mini series - but there is too much content to the Novel to make a good movie script as lots of plot would need to be cut.

The rest of the 170 vote was quite well dispersed among other favourites with Gil the Arm coming in at a close second:

Room for a Sequel? - Which story would you like to see a sequel (or indeed a prequel) to?

The vote was again in favour of the Pak with over 30% of people wanting to know more about the events on Home, which was left very open, at the end of the Protector Novel.  The Slaver/Tnuctipun war was also a popular choice with 27% of the voter's choices.
